Managing 3CX Voicemail

To manage your voicemail, simply use any Desk or SoftPhone that is configured on your extension. Dial “999” (the default for 3CX Phone System) and follow the instructions provided by the voice menu system. You’ll be asked to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) followed by “#”. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be presented with several options to choose from.

  • Dial * to play your messages.
  • Dial “9” to go to options.
  • Dial pound “#” to exit.

When you dial “9” for options, the voicemail system will announce the following options. Dial the respective numbers to change and update these features:

  • Dialling “1” allows you to change your profile status.
  • Dialling “3” allows you to dial a number.
  • Dialling “4” allows you to delete all read messages.
  • Dialling “5” allows you to change your self-identification message.
  • Dialling “6” allows you to play mailbox information.
  • Dialling “7” allows you to change your voicemail PIN number.
  • Dialling “8” allows you to change your greeting message.
  • Dialling “9” allows you to restart the voice menu prompts.

Note: The default voicemail number “999” can be configured to a different number by your administrator. If “999” does not work, ask your administrator for your voicemail number.
