How long does porting a number take?
Transferring or porting your number can take anywhere from 10 days and up. Depending on the agreement with the losing carrier, it all depends on which carrier you are switching from.
What is Category C Number Porting?
If your business has more than 80 direct telephone numbers, a Category C port will be the best solution for porting to a new carrier. This process is much more complex than a simple Category A transfer and will take longer to complete.
